Application process

The application process for the Executive Master HSG Insurance and Financial Services basically takes place in three steps. The entry into this executive program is possible at the beginning of each required or elective component. We recommend an early application as the available study places are limited. The application deadline for the execution 2025/2026 is December 1, 2024.

Step 1: Checking the admission requirement

  • Submission of documents (CV & transcript of first degree)
  • Selection of the specialization (Elective)

  • Review of the incoming application
    • Personal interview with the Academic Director
      • Continuing education agreement and admission to the Insurance Masterclass

      Dates & Planning

      Because the Executive Master HSG Insurance and Financial Services is modular, you can complete the compulsory and elective components (Core and Electives) step by step and tailored to your needs. You decide when and with which component you want to start.

      As a standard we recommend starting with the HSG Executive Diploma Insurance Management (Core), then completing the elective specialization I or II (Elective) and finishing with the Insurance Masterclass (Core). You have a total of 24 - 36 months (depending on your individual time investment) to complete all three components (Core and Electives).

      You can apply for the execution 2025/2026 until December 1, 2024 online here.

      Tuition

      The total cost for completing all three components (Standard = 2x Core and 1x Elective) is CHF 59'600. This amount can also be divided into 2 to 3 installments at the request of the participants.

      The payments can be arranged either per completed study module or as part of a continuing education agreement covering the entire program.

      If you choose to take a CAS course from another institute at the University of St. Gallen as part of the Electives, tuition fees may vary. The prices published on the respective program pages are decisive.
